Competitive/Developmental Figure Skating and Starskate

2018 Spring Sessions Registration is open

The Senior Figure Skating Program is intended for skaters who have passed the Preliminary Freeskate test and are competing STAR 4 or above. Team coaching, jump technique, spins, off-ice, specialized dance classes, strength and conditioning are all part of the program.

Intermediate and Senior Skaters compete in several competitions a year and take Skate Canada tests to increase levels of skating. Coaching is included in development sessions.

Program Requirements: Equipment and Attire Figure skaters are required to dress athletically and appropriately for their sessions. Skaters must wear tights and yoga jacket type clothing. Hair must be neatly tied back and out of the face. *No baggy clothing (hoodies, winter jackets, jeans are unacceptable). Skaters who do not come dressed appropriately may not be able to participate for safety reasons.

Prerequisites: Passed Preliminary Freeskate test. Skaters should skate 3-4 days a week to participate in the Senior Program.
